چکیده
For both financial and environmental considerations, the power system includes a large number of solar wind generating plants. In reality, energy has always been used using doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) based variable speed turbine. This study examines effectiveness indirect control for closed loop reactive adjustment. A conversion with continuous grid power's design, analysis, MATLAB simulation are also covered. DFIG to work reliably be controlled ensure stability system, seamless transition mode change is required. The horizontal axis turbine technology provides necessary into under all unexpected circumstances. concept mathematical modelling Various simulated outputs at loading circumstances shown, along separate active powers variations in prime mover excitation. performance enhancement its grid-based proportional integral (PI), derivative (PID), fractional order (FOPID) controllers. Based on thorough findings, type that gives efficient ultimately decided. These results demonstrate how suggested controllers outperform current terms improving performance.

Sliding-Mode-based Improved Direct Active and Reactive Power Control of Doubly Fed Induction Generator under Unbalanced Grid Voltage Condition
This paper proposes an improved direct active and reactive power control (DPC) strategy for a grid-connected doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) based wind-turbine system under unbalanced grid voltage condition. The method produces required rotor voltage references based on the sliding mode control (SMC) approach in stationary reference frame, without the requirement of synchronous coordinate...

The doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) is one of the most popular technologies used in wind power systems. With the growing use of DFIGs and increasing power system dependence on them in recent years, protecting of these generators against internal faults is more considered. Loss of excitation (LOE) event is among the most frequent failures in electric generators. However, LOE detection stud...
متن کاملOptimal Operation of Doubly-fed Induction Generator used in a Grid-Connected Wind Power System
In this paper, a wind power system based on a doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) is modeled and simulated. To guarantee high-performance control of the powers injected into the grid by the wind turbine, five intelligent super-twisting sliding mode controllers (STSMC) are used to eliminate the active power and current ripples of the DFIG. The STSMC controller is a high-order sliding mode cont...

متن کاملDecoupled Control of Active and Reactive Power for a Grid-connected Doubly-fed Wound Rotor Induction Machine without Position Sensors
Abstruct In this paper field-oriented control of a doubly-fed wound rotor induction machine without shaft position sensors is presented. The stator is directly connected to the constant frequency three phase grid and the rotor currents are appropriately controlled to vary the slip power thereby enabling variable speed constant frequency operation. Instead of using dynamic angle controllers for ...
